Join us for our once-per semester trip to Cuenca and the Ciudad Encantada. This semester we will go on Saturday 13th October.
Photos from last year:
Cuenca: is a small town in the south of Castile whose historic old quarter is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Ciudad Encantada (Enchanted City): For many travelers, this is one of the most beautiful corners of Spain. The Ciudad Encantada comprises a set of stones that, through erosion, have acquired the form of objects, people, or animals, such as the winch, the stone sea, the boat, a seal or a dog. If you are want to see some real magic, this trip is for you!
Ventano del Diablo (Devil's Window): Another rocky spot where erosion has formed the rocks into curious figures, arches and It is a rocky place where erosion, for many years, was molding curious figures, arches and promontories.
Casas Colgadas (Hanging houses): A complex of houses in Cuenca built so that many of the houses stick out prominently over the cliffs; this is well worth a look when we're in town, it's pretty amazing!
