We will meet at Le Pain Quotidien in Wayne about 2:30pm, Saturday March 10th. We will identify the group with signs to help you to identify the Duolingo French table. There's a wide variety of items and price points on the menu and le proprietaire was very welcoming! Parlons francais!
There is plenty of free parking, and Le Pain Quotidien is just a few blocks from the Wayne Septa station. Look here for more info about the venue:
We have a mix of levels of French proficiency but with the prompts and a bit of courage, everyone should get to practice speaking with others, the best way to continue learning! We are very patient, so do your best to speak in French only!
All are welcome but those under 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Not a convenient time or location? We are planning to host here 2nd and 4th weekends - sometimes Saturday, sometimes Sunday. If you are able to sometimes host or co-host, Duolingo can give you the run down, a brief training, and you can host Philadelphia area events nearer to you! Email me for more info on how to get set up with us for that. In addition, I'd like to plan a larger gathering every six months or so, similar to what we had at A la Maison, if there is interest, going forward.
Any questions feel free to reach me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Merci! À bientôt!
